For many people, three things in particular spring to mind when they think of Nuremberg, the Franconian metropolis: the medieval Imperial Castle, the world-famous Christkindlesmarkt and the glorious 1. FCN.

So what could be more natural than to give our DPRG Northern Bavaria members a taste of the world of Franconian football: As well as a nail-biting Franconian derby between the club and the Würzburger Kickers, which we watched from the press box, we were given fascinating insights into the work of stadium announcer Guido Seibelt and the team led by press officer Luana Valentini.
