Greater visibility for the necessary modernisation of Bavaria’s electricity grids

The energy transition and digital transformation are not only increasing the need to adapt our infrastructure, but also raising the bar for project communication: after all, there can be no energy transition without the modernisation of the electricity grids, and the expansion of the grid is, at the same time, dependent on acceptance by local communities.

We therefore seek to engage in proactive dialogue with relevant stakeholders in society, the public sector and politics, and – from the start of planning right through to commissioning – we prioritise transparent communication on individual planning stages to ensure a smoother process.  Early public engagement can increase acceptance of projects – which in turn ensures a smooth project process and accelerates the energy transition.
