The heating transition is changing more than just heating systems: it is a societal shift. New structures, unfamiliar pricing models and rising costs are met with scepticism and resistance – making clear communication more important than ever.
Climate-neutral heat supply by 2045
Over half of Germany’s final energy consumption is accounted for by heating. And this still comes predominantly from fossil fuels such as gas and oil. The decarbonisation of heat generation is therefore central to a sustainable energy future. Against this backdrop, the Heat Planning Act requires local authorities to develop strategies for a climate-neutral heat supply by 2045 – and thus to expand and convert local and district heating networks to renewable energy sources.
Working together for the heating transition
Where rising costs and personal burdens are felt, clear and transparent communication becomes a key factor in the successful implementation of infrastructure projects. Transparency and dialogue prevent information gaps, counter rumours and foster trust and support.
Listening, informing, engaging: from planning to commissioning, the aim is to explain technical issues in an accessible way and to actively foster participation.
Strategic communications consultancy: Tailor-made strategies that involve all stakeholders – politicians, local authorities, municipal utilities, businesses, climate protection agencies, community energy cooperatives – and residents.
Transparent information: Accessible formats explain complex heating infrastructures – and provide space for questions that matter to those affected.
Dialogue & participation: Discuss plans with all stakeholders, involve supporters – and address critical questions.
