The Nuremberg Metropolitan Region is becoming the hub of digital Germany

The Nuremberg Digital Festival is an annual series of events organised by digitale Gesellschaft. As an open network, the festival (formerly Nuremberg Web Week) has been connecting people and organisations from the worlds of business, technology, education and culture in the Nuremberg metropolitan region since 2012. We have been supporting the Nuremberg Digital Festival since 2016. 

 

The hybrid format from 2020 continues

From Nuremberg via Erlangen to Coburg, Bamberg, Fürth, Ansbach, Neumarkt and many more – the Nuremberg Digital Festival brings the region together: in 2019, over 16,000 visitors attended more than 330 events across 10 days on the topics of mobility, digital health, finsurtech, the digital society, the changing world of work, development & technology, and art & culture. In the pandemic year of 2020, the festival’s innovative ‘remote’ edition enabled interactive exchange and a festival atmosphere at home – despite the lockdown. The community event thus remained the place where encounters and dialogue on the digital future took place in 2020 as well.

 

Communications work by Kaltwasser Kommunikation

We at Kaltwasser Kommunikation are delighted to handle the regional and national communications work and to serve as the official press contact for the Nuremberg Digital Festival. Our activities include traditional PR consultancy, corporate communications, and the creation of a wide variety of written content. We also design and organise TV and print interviews as well as press events – on-site, hybrid or virtual, such as the “Dürer goes Digital” event and the annual press conference marking the opening of the Nuremberg Digital Festival.
