Case study generates broad visibility for new business field

How a success story is coherently told and made visible across different channels.

Use Case brought on stage

Proof of concept and image transfer - case studies stand above all for authenticity. They provide proof that a solution is being used successfully by the customer. The communicative challenge is to tell this success story coherently across different channels and make it visible. In the case of the IT solution for secure video communication from Voigtmann GmbH and Pexip, the successful use case for the Bundesagentur für Arbeit (Federal Employment Agency) has even conquered the big stage.

Milestone for secure video communication in public authorities

Voigtmann GmbH is a leading provider of software solutions and services in the field of scalable and data protection-compliant video communication. With the modular video communication suite, companies, authorities and institutions can design and simplify their communication with all reference groups in a user-friendly way. As a secure manual solution, it integrates existing unified communication tools independently of the operating system and enables secure exchange via video, chat and audio as well as joint work on documents. The associated web app brings people together from anywhere and using any device. The Bundesagentur für Arbeit (Federal Employment Agency) has been using the Voigtmann solution since October 2020 and more than 200,000 calls with over seven million call minutes have already taken place via the digital, convenient communication channel (as of April 2022).

Go live for new business segment

The aim of the use case with the Bundesagentur für Arbeit (Federal Employment Agency) and all accompanying measures is to make the advantages of the newly designed, data protection-compliant and highly scalable video communication solution visible, especially for large institutions. The successful example was also the starting signal for the communication around the new business field of Voigtmann GmbH. Our task was to position the company as an opinion leader (thought leader) in the industry of secure video communication solutions and to prove the extraordinary expertise of Voigtmann GmbH in this field. We achieved this through interlocking communication measures that make the customer benefits tangible.

Case study as a content marketing hub

The basis of our activities was the use case with the Bundesagentur für Arbeit (Federal Employment Agency). Based on this, we used different channels with clear storytelling:

  1. Website
For the landing page for video communication, we designed an appealing mix of text and graphic elements and integrated the case study centrally. This way interested parties are picked up with a comprehensive content package.
  2. Social Media
We orchestrated teasers for the case study via the social media channels of Voigtmann GmbH and Pexip to increase reach and raise awareness.
  3. Media
The case study was initially published exclusively in Behördenspiegel and in the newsletter of the Behördenspiegel. Further placements were made in the IT-Administrator with a user report, the Funkschau with a technical article as well as in the Discover Germany magazine. Some media also picked up on the press release.
  4. Newsletter and e-mail signature
Pexip communicated the case study via its newsletter. Voigtmann GmbH integrated the link to the case study in their email signature.
  5. Success Story as PDF
The flyer on the Success Story is available as a download and is used at trade fairs and events.
  6. Advertisements
In the run-up to the Smart Country Convention, Voigtmann GmbH placed two advertisements with a reference to the presentation and a link to the case study with a call to action.

Use Case on Stage

The highlight of the communication around the secure communication solution was the presentation of the use case at the Smart Country Convention (SCCON). Here, we were able to convince the Bundesagentur für Arbeit (Federal Employment Agency) to present the joint success story to a large audience. Stefan Latuski, CEO of the IT system house of the Bundesagentur für Arbeit (BA) and Lucas Albracht, product manager for "Mein Videotermin" at the BA, presented in a live session at SCCON how the Bundesagentur für Arbeit (Federal Employment Agency) is breaking new ground with intuitive video communication. The keynote speech was recorded, and the Vimeo video was used for the follow-up to the event as well as for social media.
